Karl-Johan Larsson has been working as a filmdirector and producer since 1989. Starting out as a musician back in the late -80’s, a production company was formed making hi-rotation music videos on an international basis. Followed up by three years working with TV3 biggest success even to this day, ”Blåsningen”, commercials and corporatefilms for both the industrial and entertainment industry followed. Box office hit feature film ”Festival” was directed and co-produced in 2001, followed by a period of top brand commecials.

After all these years of production experience, an international video portal with and for the fans – Life in the city - was launched 2008. Connecting brands with their fans thru content spread in social media has been the core of Life in the city ever since. Karl-Johan Larsson, born 1968, lives in Gothenburg with family.
